Giovanni Trematerra

Giovanni Trematerra is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Currently a Staff Engineer at Spotify since May 2013, Giovanni has contributed to both the Connectivity and Performance teams, leading architectural changes and integrating Spotify's core functionality into various hardware platforms, notably with Sony PlayStation and Chromecast. Giovanni is also a Founding Investor at Greens Ventures, and previously served as a Senior Software Engineer at Esaote, where responsibilities included overseeing the MRI department. Past contributions to FreeBSD and several software development roles in banking and marketing further showcase a diverse skill set. Giovanni co-founded Ryhab s.a.s. to develop 3D games and started a career in law enforcement as an Agente Polizia di Stato. Educational background includes a high school diploma specializing in Computer Science and ongoing learning through Coursera.
