Juliet Jordan Lowery Ed.D. serves as the inaugural Vice President & Chief Diversity Officer at Greensboro College since October 2022, directly reporting to the President. Prior to this role, Juliet held the position of Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Virginia Western Community College from December 2020 to December 2022. Juliet's extensive experience in academia includes roles such as Academic Success Coach at Roanoke College, Director of Multicultural Affairs at the University of Akron, and various positions in career planning and multicultural initiatives at institutions including the University of Michigan, Georgia Perimeter College, the University of Tulsa, Wake Forest University, and Ball State University. Juliet holds a Doctor of Education in Leadership for Change from Fielding Graduate University, alongside a Master of Education, a Master of Arts in Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Bradley University and The University of Tulsa.
