Nathan Bates

Nathan Bates serves as the Head Coach for Men's Lacrosse at Greensboro College since June 2021, bringing extensive experience in coaching and athletic program development. As Co-Founder and Director of Development for the Carolina Hilltoppers from 2011 to 2022, Nathan provided high-level lacrosse opportunities and college placement advising to over 500 youth players. Previous roles include building the men's lacrosse program at William Peace University, and serving as Lacrosse Coach and Associate Professor at Guilford College, where responsibilities included recruiting, event management, and personnel oversight. Nathan has also operated Bates Construction since 2018, managing residential, commercial, and agricultural construction projects. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor's in Sport and Fitness Administration from Taylor University.
