Afaf Najjar

Afaf Najjar (SHE/HER), CHRL has an extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Afaf started their career at the Municipality of Chatham-Kent as a Labour Relations Analyst from March 2004 to June 2008. Afaf then joined Union Gas as an Employee Relations Consultant from April 2011 to August 2012, followed by roles as a Compensation Specialist from June 2008 to April 2014 and a Senior HR Business Partner from April 2014 to January 2019. Afaf then moved to Enbridge Gas Distribution as a Director of HR Business Partners from December 2018 to May 2019. Currently, they are working at GreenShield, where they have held various positions, including Director HR Business Partnerships from May 2019 to March 2023 and currently serves as the VP of Employee Relations & Business Partners since February 2023, as well as the VP of HR Business Partnerships since March 2023.

Afaf Najjar (SHE/HER), CHRL attended Davenport University from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus in Human Resources Management and Services. Afaf also pursued additional education at HRPA to earn a CHRP certification. Furthermore, they completed a Diploma in Human Resources Management and Services at St. Clair College.
