Sara Gilpin has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and organizations. Sara is currently working at Southern Regional College as the Course Director for Levels 4&5 Health & Social Care since August 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Specialist Lecturer in Health & Social Care at the same institution from October 2022 to August 2023.

Sara completed their Masters in Public Health and Health Promotion from the University of Warwick from 2022 to 2024, with a focus on Public Health.
From 2020 to 2021, Sara studied Level 3 British Sign Language (BSL) at the Institute of British Sign Language (iBSL).
Sara pursued a PGCE - Further Education in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching at Ulster University from 2019 to 2021.
In 2015, Sara completed Level 2 British Sign Language (BSL) at Jordanstown School of the Deaf and Blind.
Sara also studied Level 1 British Sign Language (BSL) at Southern Regional College, Lurgan Campus from 2014 to 2015.
Sara obtained their Post Graduate Certificate in Education with a specialization in Nurse Teaching from the University of Ulster, Jordanstown from 2010 to 2013.
For their undergraduate degree, Sara earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Pediatric Nursing from Queen's University Belfast from 1999 to 2003.
Finally, Sara completed their A-Levels in Geography, Biology, and Mathematics at Regent House Grammar School from 1991 to 1998.

Southern Regional College is one of the largest education providers in Northern Ireland with approximately 10,000 students enrolled annually and over 900 members of staff.
