Jennifer Russell

Jennifer Russell joined GreenSky in 2019 and is the Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. She is responsible for credit and fraud risk management of both our merchant network and consumer loans facilitated through the GreenSky technology platform. Ms. Russell has over 25 years of risk management experience in the financial services industry and e-commerce including managing credit and fraud risk of consumer, small and medium businesses and large corporates. She joined GreenSky from eBay where she was responsible for marketplace listing policies and managing the transformation of the risk management capabilities throughout the e-commerce marketplace. Prior to joining eBay, Ms. Russell was the Chief Risk Officer for Global Commercial Payments at Barclays Bank PLC, managing credit and fraud risk for small, medium and corporate payments products. Prior to that, she held a variety of positions at American Express including leading consumer co-brand underwriting, commercial underwriting, consumer card targeting and acquisition analytics, consumer card retention analytics and served as the regional risk officer for commercial payments for the Americas. Ms. Russell earned a BBA in Risk Management from the University of Memphis and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
