Douglas Weishaar

Douglas Weishaar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Douglas started their career as a Sales Representative at SBC, where they worked from 1996 to 1999. Douglas then moved on to Sutherland Global Services, where they served as a Program Supervisor from 1999 to 2002. After that, they joined ATS Reliance as a Business Development Manager from 2002 to 2006. Douglas then worked at Allied Building Products as a Regional IT Trainer from 2006 to 2011. Following that, they joined Halco as a Renewable Energy Sales Consultant from 2011 to 2013. Douglas later worked as a Talent Acquisition Partner (Contract Consultant) at CVS Caremark Corporation from 2013 to 2014. Currently, Douglas is the Director of Commercial Sales at GreenSpark Energy, a position they have held since 2014.

Douglas Weishaar has a Master of Business Administration degree from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. Douglas also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from SUNY Brockport and an Associate in Science degree in Liberal Arts from Monroe Community College. Additionally, they attended The Aquinas Institute of Rochester, although the specific degree or field of study is unknown. Douglas has obtained several certifications including Certified PV Technical Sales Professional from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners and various certifications from the SunPower Certified Solar Professional program such as Advanced Level - Sales, Associate Level Designer, and Associate Level Installer.
