Andrew Christensen has worked in the energy and legal industries since 2012. In 2012, they began as an intern at the Office of Legislative Research & General Counsel. In 2014, they worked as a Summer Associate at Ford & Huff LC and as a Manager, New Markets / Capital Markets at Vivint Solar, where they led the company's growth and expansion into 13 new states and over 50 utilities. In 2015, they were an Associate Attorney at Marc A. Austin, P.C., where they advised on tax implications of business sales, mergers and acquisitions, and business entity formation. From 2017 to 2021, they held various roles at Sunrun and GreenStruxure, including Director, Market Development & Policy and Senior Director, Markets, Grid Services & Policy.

Andrew Christensen attended Brigham Young University from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor's degree. Andrew then attended BYU Law School from 2013 to 2015, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.). Andrew is currently attending Stanford University, where they are studying Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies, with an expected graduation in 2020.
