Capt. Mohit Joshi began their work experience as a Gentleman Cadet at Officer's Training Academy in Chennai in 2002. Capt. Mohit then served in the Indian Army for seven years, where they held several roles, including Captain. During their time in the military, they gained experience in various areas such as logistics, supply chain management, risk management, and project management.

Following their service in the army, Capt. Joshi worked as a Deputy Chief Logistics Officer for the United Nations Mission in Sudan, where they were responsible for drafting and monitoring operational programs. Capt. Mohit also coordinated operational issues and facilitated reimbursements to the Government of India.

After their UN role, Capt. Joshi took on the position of Project Head at Ramky Enviro Engineers Ltd, where they prepared and implemented annual budgets and led a team to achieve the company's strategic goals. Capt. Mohit then became the Country Manager - Operations at Primefuels Kenya Ltd, where they established quality management services and streamlined operations across international borders.

Capt. Joshi also worked as a Business & Projects Coordinator at HMR Environmental Engineering Consultants, where they helped expand the company's presence into waste management and renewable energy sectors. Capt. Mohit Joshi has a diverse education history. In 1997 to 1999, they attended Kumaun University and obtained a B.Com degree, focusing on Economics, Accounting, and Management. Subsequently, in 2008 to 2009, they pursued a PGCBM in Business Administration at the Management Development Institute in Gurgaon.

Continuing their educational journey, Capt. Joshi completed a Certificate Course in Environmental Impact Assessment - Screening to Decision Making in 2013 at the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) in New Delhi, India. Additionally, they enrolled in a Certificate Course on Disaster Risk, Vulnerability Assessment, and Management at the National Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) and gained this certification in July 2020.

In 2017, Capt. Joshi attended the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and completed a Management Development Program (MDP) in Export Import Management. Capt. Mohit further enhanced their knowledge in international business by participating in an Executive Development Program on Strategies in International Business at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in April 2018.

Capt. Joshi has also acquired several certifications. In May 2013, they obtained the Certified Project Manager certification from NIESBUD, Govt. of India. Additionally, they completed courses on Logistical Support to UN Peacekeeping Operations, Peacekeeping and International Conflict Resolution, and Operational Logistical Support at the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) in January 2008 and November 2007.
