Maliek K. Branch is a financial operations and policy leader with over 15 years of public sector and non-profit experience. Immediately prior to joining the team at Greenwich House Maliek served as Chief Fiscal Officer at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office since January 2014. In that role, she managed the agency’s $150M financial operation focusing on system transformation and rebuilding. Through her career in public service, Maliek has implemented policy and operational changes that facilitated transparency, growth, and financial stability.

Maliek began her career in Public Service working at various non-profits in Philadelphia and New York City in budget and grant operations. In 2007, she joined the Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget as a Budget Analyst overseeing fiscal operations for various Criminal Justice agencies in New York City, including the New York City Police Department. While working at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Maliek gained a wealth of knowledge collaborating with key players in the budget and policy arena of the criminal justice system Citywide. OMB provided opportunities for growth and a view of policy-making in one of the most complex and dynamic local governments in the nation.
