Gabriel de Diego

Gabriel de Diego is an accomplished trading and consulting professional with extensive experience in the metals and mining sector. Since July 2019, Gabriel has served as the Head of Trading and Head of Ferrous Trading at Greenwich Metals Inc. Concurrently, Gabriel has been a Metallurgical Coal Trader for M Resources Trading Pty Ltd. since May 2016, focusing on the Latin American market. As the Owner of an independent consultancy since October 2015, Gabriel provides expertise in commercial and business development for mining companies and identifies trading opportunities in various steelmaking commodities. Prior to these roles, Gabriel was the Head of Ferrous Trading for the Americas at Trafigura, where significant growth in iron ore trading was achieved. Gabriel's early career includes key positions at Exiros - Tenaris/Ternium, where responsibilities encompassed procurement, marketing, and sourcing for steelmaking materials, and as a Consultant at Accenture. Gabriel holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires and has a background in education from the University of New Orleans and Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires.
