Alex Loosen

Alex Loosen has extensive experience in the renewable energy industry. Alex currently works as the Solar PV Operations Director - Europe at GreenYellow since December 2022. Prior to this, they were the PV Project Delivery Manager at ENGIE SOLAR from April 2021 to November 2022. Alex also worked as a Project Manager at Tractebel Engineering GmbH (formerly Lahmeyer International GmbH) from January 2010 to April 2021. In addition to their professional experience, Alex Loosen has also served as a Course Lecturer at Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin, teaching Advanced Renewable Energy Technology from 2013 to 2015.

Alex Loosen completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University from 2004 to 2008. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Science in Renewable Energy from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. Additionally, in 2009, they attended Northumbria University for a specialization in Photovoltaics as part of their Master's program.
