Gianluca Valente

Gianluca Valente has extensive experience in procurement and sourcing roles. Gianluca started their career at Boehringer Ingelheim as a Supply Chain Manager Assistant, where they gained knowledge in production planning. Gianluca then moved to Menarini, where they worked as a Junior Logistic Planner, responsible for efficient planning and stock control. Valente later joined Whirlpool Corporation, taking on roles as a Raw Material Buyer and Category Senior Buyer, focusing on metals and polymers sourcing. After that, they joined RB as a Global Purchasing Manager, responsible for global sourcing strategy and market forecasting of raw materials and packaging. Currently, Valente holds the position of Sr. Procurement Director Global Raw Materials at Greif, Inc., leading strategic sourcing of raw materials globally.

Gianluca Valente obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, spanning from 1999 to 2005.
