Johnny Ong

Johnny Ong is an experienced operations and engineering professional with a history of roles in significant companies across the electronics and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as Project Engineering and Director of Operations at Greif since January 2013, Johnny leads lean operations and safety initiatives for all Southeast Asia sites. Previous experience includes a directorship at Benchmark Electronics focused on quality management systems and operational excellence using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Johnny has also held senior operations management positions at Flex, overseeing performance at industrial equipment manufacturing and new product introductions. Earlier in their career, Johnny was a Test Product Manager at STATS ChipPAC and a Test Product Section Manager at Unitrode Electronics. Educational credentials include a degree in Electrical and Electronics from Nanyang Technological University, along with A and O levels from Victoria Junior College and Dunman High School, respectively.
