Emilie Chalas

Conseillère Communautaire at Grenoble-Alpes Métropole

Emilie Chalas currently serves as Chef de Projets at CARBON since September 2022, and concurrently holds positions as Conseillère municipale for Ville de Grenoble and Conseillère communautaire for Grenoble-Alpes Métropole since June 2020. Previously, Emilie was a Députée de l'Isère at Assemblée nationale from June 2017 to June 2022 and taught as an Intervenante at Sciences Po in early 2021. Emilie's extensive experience also includes roles as Directeur général des services at Ville de Moirans from March 2014 to June 2017, Directeur général adjoint at Mairie de Moirans from May 2011 to March 2014, and directrice Aménagement Environnement at moirans from January 2005 to May 2011. Earlier career highlights include working as Chargée de mission Mobilités at Agence d'urbanisme de la région grenobloise from September 2002 to December 2004. Emilie Chalas holds multiple degrees, including a DESS in Urbanisme from the Institut d'Urbanisme de Grenoble, a Diplome d’universite in Criminologie from Aix-Marseille Université ISPEC, a Maitrise in Sociologie from Université Grenoble Alpes, and has completed a senior year in Psychology, Sociology, and Criminology at Washington College.
