Pia Cornejo

Pia Cornejo is senior managing director of people and culture for Greystar, with responsibility for talent acquisition, talent management, benefits and compensation, training and development, and diversity and inclusion. Pia is charged with aligning the company’s global business strategy with talent management and performance, while working to build on company culture as Greystar continues to grow worldwide. Pia joined Greystar in 2019 from InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), where she spent 11 years in various human resources leadership roles throughout the global organization, helping leaders deliver outstanding performance and guest experiences through people. Prior to joining IHG, Pia had a diverse career in human resources, marketing, and product development for organizations that include Starwood Hotels & Resorts and the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. Pia holds a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University and an MBA from London Business School. She speaks English, Spanish, and French fluently, and has lived in 11 cities across 7 countries.
