Gatis Vuguls

Gatis Vuguls has a diverse background in the technology industry. Gatis is currently a Co-Founder at Pollatir, a position they took on in 2024. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Architect - Insurance at Grid Dynamics from July 2023 onwards. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring the core insurance systems practice had the necessary skillsets and provided guidance in data and AI projects.

From December 2019 to July 2023, Gatis was a Lead Architect at Alchemy Technology Services. Gatis worked on various Guidewire implementations for clients such as Direct Line Group, Zurich Group, and Aioi Nissay Dowa. During their early career, Gatis was self-employed as a web developer, and they also worked at Measuresoft Development LTD as a web developer, software tester, and technical support specialist.

Gatis Vuguls attended Dundalk Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Internet Technologies and a BSc (Honors) in Computing in Internet Technologies. In addition to their degrees, Gatis Vuguls has obtained various certifications from Guidewire Software, including Guidewire 8.0 Technical, Policy Center 8.0 Functional, Billing Center 7.0 Functional, Policy Center 7.0 Functional, and Policy Center 7.0 Technical. Gatis is also a Guidewire Certified Ace for PolicyCenter - Hakuba, a Guidewire Certified Associate for InsuranceSuite Developer - Hakuba, and a Guidewire Certified Specialist for BillingCenter Configuration and ClaimCenter Configuration - Hakuba.
