Guillem Mata Granell

Guillem Mata Granell has held a variety of roles in the business and sports industries. In 2020, they were a Business Development Manager at GRID esports, where they were responsible for bridging the gap between esports and non-endemic companies through marketing activation campaigns and sponsorship deals. Guillem also held a Business Development role at FC Barcelona, where they were responsible for enhancing and developing business for the Basketball, Handball, Indoor Soccer and Hockey teams, as well as exploiting and managing the Indoor Arena. In 2019, they were a Sales Executive at Palco23, the leading online sports newspaper in Spain. In 2017, they held two roles at EuroDev - European Business Development Group, International Business Development Professional and Business Development. In 2016, they were a Market Analyst at Ayuntamiento de Vila-real (Vila-real City Hall) where they started up a project on internationalization for the city’s small and medium enterprises. In 2014, they were a Sales Representative at Barceló Viajes, where they were responsible for selling trips to the Pyrenees.

Guillem Mata Granell has a diverse education history. Guillem attended I.E.S. Miralcamp from 2007 to 2013 and obtained their High School degree in Social Studies. In 2011 and 2012, they attended Middleton High School and completed a High School Year. From 2013 to 2017, they attended the University of Valencia and obtained their International Business degree. From 2015 to 2017, they attended Hochschule Heilbronn - Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Informatik and obtained their International Business and Intercultural Studies degree. Lastly, from 2019 to 2020, they attended Johan Cruyff Institute and obtained their Master in Sports Management degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management. Additionally, they obtained their CAE Advance Certificate from Cambridge English Language Assessment in April 2016 and their TOEFL iBT English Certificate from ETS in December 2015.
