Nicki Coates has a diverse background in product management and consulting. Nicki is currently working as a Product Lead at Gridcognition. Prior to that, they founded Learn Play Eat in 2018. Nicki also has experience as a Product/UX Manager at City Beach Software, where they focused on rebuilding and redesigning a customer-facing portal. Nicki has served as a Senior Product Manager at companies like Pet Circle, uno Home Loans, and Fairfax Media. Nicki has also worked as a Consultant Digital Product & Project Manager, a Product Manager at BridgeClimb Sydney, and a Senior Product Manager at The Motley Fool. Throughout their roles, Nicki has demonstrated expertise in product positioning, roadmap planning, and improving conversion rates. Nicki has worked in various industries, including ecommerce, fintech, media, and classified advertising.

Nicki Coates pursued their education with a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Birmingham, which they completed between 2000 and 2003. In 2006 and 2007, they further expanded their knowledge by obtaining a Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. In 2012 and 2013, Nicki Coates pursued a Diploma in Financial Planning and Services ASIC RG146 from Deakin University.
