Kareem Yassih

Kareem Yassih has a long and varied work experience in the VFX industry. Kareem began their career in 2012 as an IT Production Manager at Weta Digital, where they were the key liaison point for production, acted as an escalation point, managed special/cross-functional IT projects, and was the security coordinator. In 2014, they moved to Image Engine Design Inc. as a Technical Assistant Supervisor. In 2015, they became the Head of Global VFX Support at GridMarkets. In 2017, they returned to Animal Logic as a Project Manager. Prior to this, they had worked at Animal Logic from 2005-2011, first as a Render Resource Manager and then as a Lead Render Wrangler. During their time there, they managed the render farm, supervised a 12+ render wrangler team, and developed the department's Knowledge Base.

Kareem Yassih attended Western Sydney University from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a degree in Buisness with a field of study in Information Systems.
