Robert Wilhite has worked for a variety of companies since 2000. Robert began their career at Accenture, where they served as a Senior Manager in the Utilities Strategy & Business Architecture practice from 2000 to 2003. Robert then moved to KEMA, where they were Global Director and Senior Vice President from 2003 to 2015. During this time, they held P&L responsibility for a $65M Americas energy advisory region and a $90M global business line. Robert was also a member of the global leadership team. From 2015 to 2019, Robert worked at Navigant as a Managing Director in the Energy practice. In this role, they held P&L responsibility for the global utilities client segment and served on the global Energy practice leadership team. In 2019, Robert began working at Black & Veatch as Senior Vice President and Strategic Advisory Leader. Robert also served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Global Distributed Energy, where they led the design, engineering, development, and monitoring/maintenance of client sustainable power solutions. Robert has also held various board positions. From 2009 to 2011, they were a Board Director for Utilimetrics-The Utility Technology Association. Robert then served as a Board Director for GridWise Alliance from 2011 to 2019, and was an Executive Committee Member from 2019. Robert was also a Board Director and Officer for the Global Smart Grid Federation from 2013 to 2019. Additionally, Robert was Chairman of the Environmental Sustainability Board for the City of Belmont, NC in 2019 and Co-Chair of the Dentons Smart Cities & Communities Think Tank in 2018.
Robert Wilhite obtained their MBA in International Business from Florida International University's College of Business between 1990 and 1994. Robert also earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 1982 and 1985.
