Sebastian Rau

Sebastian Rau's work experience includes roles at gridX, Fachhochschule Aachen, and Beckhoff Automation.

At gridX, Sebastian worked as the Head of Hardware and Manufacturing and later as the Teamlead Customer Support & Field Engineering. Sebastian also held a role in Entwicklung und Projektleitung.

Prior to that, Sebastian worked at Fachhochschule Aachen as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter, where their responsibilities included Embedded Systems, Industrie 4.0, C/C++, IEC61131-3 PLC Programming, and IoT Projekte.

Sebastian also worked at Beckhoff Automation as a Projektmanagement R+D-Kooperationen.

Sebastian Rau earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Informatik from Hochschule Bochum, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.
