Akshay Sachdeva

Akshay Sachdeva has worked in the software industry since 1998. Akshay started their career at Trilogy Software Inc. as a Developer and Consultant. In 2001, they joined Powered Inc. as a Java Developer, and then IBM as a Contract Application Developer. Akshay then worked at Fusion Learning Systems as a Technical Architect in 2002. In 2004, they joined SiteStuff Inc. as a Sr Java Developer/ Architect/ Dev Manager. In 2005, they moved to Zilliant Inc. as a Solution Architect and Sr. Solutions Engineer. In 2010, they joined Escalation Point as a Senior SW Developer. In 2020, they joined HIFI as a Scala Engineer, and in 2023 they joined GridX, Inc. as a Lead BigData Engineer (Scala).

Akshay Sachdeva has a diverse educational background. Akshay began their studies in 1991 at the University of London, where they completed their 'A' Levels in Math, Physics and Economics. From 1993 to 1998, they attended The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned both a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Economics. Akshay also completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computer Science, Math and Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
