Roland Poot

Roland Poot began their career in 2000 as a Web Designer at Maxanter Muziek Groep BV. In 2001, they moved to International Billing Company BV, where they held the same role. In 2003, they started their own digital agency, Pixelate BV, providing web design and development services to small and medium-sized businesses. In 2009, they joined SmartMinds as a Designer and Front End Developer. In 2011, they moved to Proximus as a Front End Developer, where they were responsible for developing and integrating design into Proximus and Skynet portals. In 2014, they joined Energyworx as a Product Designer and Front End Developer, delivering a revolutionary data aggregation & analytics cloud service. In 2015, they worked as a UI Designer and Front End Developer at both Vattenfall and Zorginstituut Nederland. Finally, in 2021, they joined GridX, Inc. as a Creative Technologist and Designer, improving the user experience for customers and employees for the entire application suite.

Roland Poot completed their high school education at Nassau Scholengemeenschap from 1991 to 1997, where they received their HAVO degree. Roland then attended Avans University of Applied Sciences from 1997 to 1999, where they received their Propedeuse in MER, Management, Economie en Rechten. Finally, they attended Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg from 1999 to 2001, where they received their Associate's Degree in Marketing/Marketing Management.
