Eli Vassenden

Eli K. Vassenden has extensive experience in the maritime and shipping sectors, currently serving as a Board Member at Grieg Shipbrokers and Den Norske Krigsforsikring for Skib since 2016. Holding the position of Vice President Shared Services at Grieg Star since 2010, responsibilities include HR, crewing, acquisition, insurance, and CSR. Vassenden previously served as Chief Operating Officer in charge of the Ship Management department. Additional leadership roles include Chairman of the Board at NR/NSA FOUNDATION NHH and chair of Bergens Rederiforening, along with various positions on multiple boards within the industry from 2004 to 2016, including GS HYDRO OY and INCENTRA AL. Educational background includes studies at the Norwegian School of Economics and BHG.
