Ann-Marie Evans

Director, Patient Safety at Griffin Hospital

Ann-Marie Evans has extensive experience in healthcare education and patient safety management. Currently serving as the Director of Patient Safety at Griffin Hospital since October 2021, Ann-Marie also holds the position of Regulatory Compliance Manager. Prior experience includes roles as Clinical Assistant Professor at Sacred Heart University College of Nursing from July 2013 to November 2021, and Clinical Placement Coordinator for Graduate Programs at Sacred Heart University from January 2012 to July 2013, where responsibilities included networking with providers for clinical placements and serving as faculty for graduate and undergraduate programs. Previously, Ann-Marie was the Director of Professional Development at Griffin Hospital from February 2003 to January 2012, overseeing departmental budgets and implementing clinical education programs. Ann-Marie holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Hartford, a Master of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Connecticut State University.
