Rob Cooke

Head of Operational Resilience at Griffin

Rob Cooke has worked in the field of operational resilience for over 20 years. Rob started their career as a Helpdesk Support Technician with Pertemps Recruitment Consultancy in 2001. Rob then moved to FLS Microtech as a PC Field Engineer in 1998. In 2018, they joined IBM as a Disaster Recovery Specialist. Rob left IBM in 2019 to join Griffin as Head of Operational Resilience.

Rob has extensive experience in creating technical disaster recovery plans to protect business data, as well as their hardware and software. Rob has collaborated with the technology department of various organizations to develop programs and utilise resources for technical recovery. Rob has also carried out reviews on recovery documentation to ensure technical accuracy and compliance to Resilience standards and policies.

At Griffin, Rob is responsible for leading the operational resilience function and ensuring that the company is prepared for any potential disruptions. Rob works closely with the other functions within Griffin to ensure that they have robust plans in place to deal with any eventuality.

Rob Cooke's educational career includes the following certifications: PECB in ISO 22301 Lead Auditor, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Cloud Practitioner, Business Continuity Institute (BCI) Member of the Business Continuity Institute, Citrix Certified Sales Professional 2013, Citrix Certified Advanced Administrator for Citrix XenApp 6, Citrix Certified Administrator for XenApp 6, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Certified IT Professional - Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist - Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure, Configuration. In addition, Rob Cooke holds a certification from Microsoft in Windows 7 Configuration.
