Renee Medland

Renee has recently completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science, with a major in Soil and Water Science, and is due to begin her Science Honours in March 2023. She has remained dedicated and passionate throughout her years at Griffith University, maintaining an exceptional academic standard.

In addition to her academic study, she is an active member of the Griffith community and has been an official peer mentor for first year students, assisting with their transition into life at university. Renee also seeks opportunities to engage with industry professionals through her work with the Queensland Department of Environment and Science, and as a member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand.

Renee is an approachable, positive and supportive individual, and is proud to provide an undergraduate student voice as an elected member of the University Council.
