Grifols
Jennifer Hunt is a seasoned scientific professional with extensive experience in protein development and purification. At Grifols, from June 2011 to March 2022, Jennifer held the roles of Principal Process Development Scientist and Principal Research Scientist, where significant contributions were made to streamlining recombinant protein purification processes. Prior to Grifols, Jennifer worked at Talecris Biotherapeutics, Inc. as a Senior Research Scientist II, focusing on optimizing protein production processes for nonclinical studies. Between March 2003 and May 2005, Jennifer served as a Senior Research Scientist at Bayer, successfully developing a protein expression system for a novel thrombolytic enzyme, for which a U.S. patent was granted. Earlier experience includes a position as a Staff Scientist at Syngenta Biotechnology, where Jennifer developed high throughput screening assays and novel methodologies. Academically, Jennifer earned a PhD in Biological Chemistry from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Biochemistry at Duke University.
