Chad Hansel

Chad Hansel has a diverse work experience, starting in 1996 when they worked as an Information Technology Specialist for the United States Department of Defense. Chad held this role for an impressive 24 years, until June 2020. In 2019, Chad joined GRIID as the Director of Operations, a position they held until December 2021. Following this, they took on the role of Director of Development. Chad's most recent position is the VP of Operations at GRIID, starting in January 2023.

Chad Hansel attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree. During the same period, they also studied at the Community College of the Air Force, where they earned an Associates degree in electronic systems technology with a specialization in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Chad Hansel has obtained certifications in various fields. In October 2015, they obtained the Comptia Security Plus certification from CompTIA. Chad also holds a license as an electrician, which they obtained from the State of Tennessee in December 2008.
