Lyric Aquino

Lyric Aquino, M.A. has experience working as an Indigenous Affairs Reporter at Grist since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as Editor In Chief at Scienceline from November 2021 to May 2022 and as a Multimedia Reporter at The Morning Journal from November 2019 to July 2021. Additionally, they were a Native American Journalist Fellow at the Native American Journalists Association from September 2019 to September 2020. Lyric holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Kent State University, and a Master's degree in Science, Health and Environmental Reporting (SHERP) from New York University.
