Kirk Rorrer

Kirk Rorrer, MBA, PMP has a diverse work experience in the field of project management and the biopharmaceutical industry. Kirk is currently working as an Associate Director of Project Management at Gritstone Bio. Previously, they worked as a Consultant at The FlexPro Group, a Network Partners Company. Before that, they served as a Director of Program Management at Umoja Biopharma and as an Associate Director of Project Management at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Kirk also has experience as a Senior Project Manager at NanoString Technologies, Inc. and MilliporeSigma. Kirk started their professional career as a Senior Associate Scientist at Amgen and has worked at various organizations including the University of Washington, Trubion Pharmaceuticals, and MDS Pharma Services in different research and scientific roles. Kirk's extensive background in project management combined with their knowledge of the biopharmaceutical industry makes him a valuable asset in their current role at Gritstone Bio.

Kirk Rorrer holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business, which they completed from 2008 to 2011. Prior to this, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Pharmacology from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine between 1995 and 2000.
