Sara Oakman

Sara Oakman has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Sara has held various roles in different companies. Sara's most recent position was at Gritstone Bio, where they served as the VP of People & Corporate Services since August 2023. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of People & Corporate Services at Gritstone Bio from August 2020 to August 2023. In this role, they provided strategic HR support and operational leadership to the company. Before joining Gritstone Bio, Sara held positions at Clovis Oncology, Pharmion LLC/Celgene, Pharmion, Chiron Corporation, Ironies, and Ericsson, where they gained experience in office management and administrative roles.

Sara Oakman has studied Human Resources Management at California State University - East Bay. Sara also attended Chabot College, where they studied Medical Assisting and General Education. In addition to their education, Sara has obtained various certifications, including one in Human Resources Management from California State University - East Bay in 2019, a Notary Public certification in May 2016, and a Certificate of Completion in Fundamentals of HR Management from the American Management Association in 2010.
