Ben Clapperton

Ben Clapperton has a wealth of work experience, beginning with a role as a Credit Risk Analyst at Lloyds Banking Group in 2010. Ben then moved to Sainsbury's in 2012, where they worked as a Financial and Pricing Analyst. In the same year, they also took on a Research Assistant - Behavioural Finance position at the Queensland University of Technology. In 2013, Ben worked as a Marketing Insight Analyst at Tesco PLC and a Statistical Analyst at the Office for National Statistics. In 2019, they became a QF Data Scientist at Sinarmas Mining, and in 2021, they took on the role of Chief Data Scientist at Grivy.

Ben Clapperton has a well-rounded education history. Ben obtained a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College London from 2006 to 2009, an MSc in Applied Statistics & Datamining from the University of St Andrews from 2009 to 2010, and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biostatistics from King's College London from 2015 to 2021. In addition, Ben Clapperton obtained a Graduate Statistician certification from the Royal Statistical Society in February 2017 and a Google Analytics Certification from the Google Digital Academy (Skillshop) in December 2022.
