Michael Simonetti

Michael Simonetti is the SVP of Climate & Index Products at Gro Intelligence. Michael has over 10 years of experience in the financial industry, including director-level positions at Ziff Brothers Investments and Point72. At Point72, they founded the Data Science Academy to train early-career data professionals in modern data science, data engineering, and the techniques of fundamental investing. Prior to that, at Ziff Brothers Investments, they were part of the Trading, Risk, and Financial Operations Group where they were responsible for trade analysis and recommendations, trade execution, risk management and analysis, and operations management. Michael also spent time in the Strategy and Planning Group where they managed performance evaluations and decompositions, portfolio construction, business opportunity evaluations, and special projects. In addition to their work in the financial industry, Simonetti has also been involved in direct private investments, specializing in valuation and due diligence for complex deals with embedded optionality.

Michael Simonetti pursued an AB in mathematics at Harvard University and then an MBA at Columbia Business School.

Michael Simonetti reports to Sara Menker, Founder & CEO. They work with Lori Arndt - Chief Commercial Officer, Arnaud Sahuguet - Chief Product Officer, and Philip Tuinenburg - Chief of Staff.
