Gegham Zakharyan

Gegham Zakharyan has over 20 years of work experience in various software development and testing roles. Gegham is currently employed as the Head of Development at Ardshinbank CJSC since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at Grōksmith., where they were responsible for architecting and developing .NET Core projects using SCRUM. Gegham also designed and implemented database structures using PostgreSQL.

From February 2017 to January 2023, Gegham worked as a Software Engineer in Test at MarketSight LLC. In this role, they designed and developed automation testing projects and systems, created test plans based on specifications, and deployed applications to production servers.

Before that, Gegham worked as a Senior Full Stack Developer at Loy & Hutz Armenia from June 2016 to October 2017. Gegham was involved in designing and developing cross-platform projects using .NET and Xamarin Forms.

From September 2012 to January 2017, Gegham worked as a Software Engineer in Test at Accusoft, where they designed and developed automation testing projects, created acceptance tests based on specifications, and integrated them into continuous integration systems using Spec Flow and Gherkin.

Early in their career, Gegham worked as a QA Specialist/Developer at NairiSoft, where they focused on investigating and correcting software requirements, writing test cases, and conducting manual testing.

Gegham Zakharyan's education history started in 1999 when they enrolled at Yerevan State University to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Physics. Gegham completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics in 2003.

Following that, they continued their studies at Yerevan State University and obtained a Master's degree in Physics, specializing in Optics, from 2003 to 2005.

Subsequently, Gegham Zakharyan pursued a PhD degree in Optics from 2005 to 2008 at Yerevan State University, ensuring further specialization in this field.
