James Carleton

James Carleton is a seasoned Systems Engineer currently at Gromelski & Associates, Inc. since March 2018, specializing in Test & Evaluation Support. Prior to this role, James served as Tactics Chief Petty Officer and Modernization Training Team Sonar Lead at the Submarine Training Facility, focusing on training for the AN-BQQ-10 Sonar system and managing curriculum standards. James also held the position of Command Career Counselor with the United States Navy, facilitating career development and counseling for enlisted personnel. Earlier in the Navy, James worked as a Sonar Technician Submarines aboard USS Albany, operating and maintaining SONAR equipment. Academically, James earned a Master of Business Administration in Information Security Management from Saint Leo University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Maine at Farmington.
