Senior Director, Project Development at Dalkia Energy Solutions

Robert Fleming, CEM has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Sales/Applications Engineer at Optima EPS from 2008 to 2014. In this position, they provided technical product support to customers and the sales team, created quotes for the National Sales Manager, and introduced an inventory plan for future solution offerings.

In 2014, Robert joined Dalkia Energy Solutions as a Project Engineer, where they managed turn-key LED lighting retrofit projects, including multi-measure projects, and contributed to design and proposal input. Robert also took on the responsibility of managing program-level, multi-project rollouts for a key customer.

In 2017, they transitioned to the role of Program Manager/Program Developer at Dalkia Energy Solutions, overseeing large multi-site rollouts and designing and developing lighting retrofit projects. Robert also became involved in implementing and designing industrial steam, compressed air, and hot water projects.

In 2019, Robert became the Manager of the Lighting Audit Group at Dalkia Energy Solutions, where they created and established a new group focused on completing accurate lighting audits. Robert trained and managed a team of 14 employees with lighting audit capabilities.

In 2020, they were promoted to Director of Project Development, tasked with creating and leading a centralized project development group. This allowed for better workload management and improved efficiency and accuracy throughout the audit and project design process.

Currently, Robert serves as the Senior Director of Project Development at Dalkia Energy Solutions, a position they assumed in February 2022.

Robert Fleming, CEM has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering, which they obtained from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Robert attended the institute from 2003 to 2007. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at Georgia State University from 2010 to 2011, where they focused on Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies, although no degree was specified. In addition to their formal education, Fleming has obtained two certifications: Certified Energy Manager from the Association of Energy Engineers, which they earned in April 2018, and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute, obtained in July 2016.
