Rakesh Jena

Rakesh Jena has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Rakesh is currently the Founder of Groov, where they are building an embedded FinTech rails product company focused on providing actionable insights for FinTech innovators in the B2B space. Prior to this, Rakesh held various positions at Tyl by NatWest, including Head of Product (Take Payments) - Interim/Advisory and Head of Product Design. In these roles, they were responsible for product management, mobilization, and delivery across integrated payment ecosystems, as well as product design and business architecture. Rakesh also worked as a Principal consultant at Altior Solutions, where they managed product management and payment consultancy engagements, and led the Product design function at Tyl by Natwest. Rakesh was also a Product Manager at Pollinate International, overseeing the digital and GTM product proposition for tyl. Before that, Rakesh served as Lead Product Owner at Worldpay, where they focused on product delivery and business analysis to support high-performance transaction processing capabilities. Earlier in their career, they worked at Cancer Research UK as a Senior Manager and at Infosys Technologies Ltd as a Principal Consultant, leading various CRM and business transformation projects. Rakesh also gained experience at Oracle Financial Services Software Limited and Polaris Software Labs India in senior consultant and associate consultant roles, respectively.

Rakesh Jena completed their Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Information System (IS/IT) and Marketing from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from National Institute of Science & Technology (NIST) between 1996 and 2000. Rakesh's earlier education includes completing their 10th grade at St Vincents Convent School, Berhampur from 1983 to 1994.
