Gideon Hertel

Gideon Hertel is currently the Salesforce Administrator at Groove Technology Solutions. Prior to this, they spent over five years at Vivint as their LMS Administrator and Learning and Development Reporting Analyst.

At Vivint, Gideon was responsible for building company-wide training completion reports with over 10,000 users, as well as multiple other reports, analysis, and visualizations for various departments. Gideon also rebuilt the process for the Daily Pulse Report from a manual weekly process to an automated process that included collecting survey data, tabulating data, and displaying and visualizing data. This eliminated 5+ hours of work per month and transitioned the report from producing week old information to up-to-the-minute information, which facilitated a drop in attrition during onboarding training.

In addition, Gideon rolled out large-scale, sometimes company-wide (10,000+), training assignments including automated email schedules and reporting for leadership. Gideon also troubleshot and resolved any and all issues that concerned the LMS (Learning Management System), including data feed issues, login issues, completion reporting, functionality issues and training. Gideon trained others with widely varying degrees of expertise in the use and functionality of the LMS.

Gideon is also responsible for coding and launching Vivint University (a rebranding of the LMS with multiple custom built web pages), despite having very little previous experience.

Gideon Hertel has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with an emphasis in Statistics from the University of Utah. Gideon also has certification from Salesforce in Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA).

They work with Ray Austin - National Sales Executive, Rob W. Boshard - National Sales Executive, and Frank Rinaldo - National Sales Executive. Their manager is Anthony Fleming, EVP of Sales & Marketing.
