Rick Lamers

Rick Lamers is an AI Researcher and Engineer at Groq since March 2024, previously holding the same title at Definitive Intelligence from June 2023 until its acquisition by Groq. As a Technical Co-Founder at Orchest from January 2020 to April 2023, Rick contributed to developing a data workflow orchestrator that empowers data professionals to create and deploy custom ELT and ML pipelines independently. Prior experiences include a Data Science Internship at Datlinq, a Research Internship and Software Development role at Keadyn, co-founding a web development agency called Beeldgoed, and various internships focusing on market research and web development. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology and a Master of Science in Strategic Entrepreneurship from Rotterdam School of Management.
