Kirby Knipp

Kirby Knipp has extensive experience in higher education administration, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Assessment, Evaluation, and Organizational Development at UC San Diego since September 2018. In this role, Kirby leads the division's strategic planning and assessment processes, and develops the Impact Report to highlight the accomplishments of over 300 colleagues and partners. Previous roles include Strategic Initiatives Administrator, where Kirby conceptualized a Tech Device Lending program, and VCSA Programs Analyst, focusing on professional development initiatives. Earlier experience encompasses positions in community colleges, language instruction, human resources, and admissions, complemented by a Master's degree in Human Relations Education from Northern Arizona University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from The University of Kansas.
