Suzanne Akemi Sannwald

Suzanne Akemi Sannwald currently serves as a Teacher Librarian at West Hills High School within the Grossmont Union High School District since August 2014, overseeing program planning, curriculum design, and technology integration for approximately 1,700 students. In addition, Sannwald has contributed as a content contributor for School Library Connection since 2020 and has served as an instructor for the School of Information at San Jose State University. Sannwald's prior roles include technology manager and faculty member at Ashford University, as well as supervisor of library and media services for the Grossmont Union High School District, managing resources across multiple high schools. Educational qualifications include a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Wellesley College, among other degrees in technology and education.
