Michael Burak has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Michael began their career as a professional rugby player, playing for teams such as Section Paloise and Cornish Pirates RFC. After transitioning out of rugby, they worked at Rugby Canada as a National Team Athlete. Following that, they joined CB Richard Ellis as a Research Analyst and later worked as a Sales Representative in the Industrial Properties Group. Michael then moved on to Grosvenor Group, where they held multiple roles over the years, including Assistant Development Manager, Development Manager, Senior Development Manager, and currently serves as the Vice President of Development. Overall, Michael Burak's work experience showcases a combination of sports and real estate industry expertise.

Michael Burak attended the UBC Sauder School of Business from 2005 to 2006, where they completed a Real Estate Licensing Course. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate education at The University of British Columbia from 1998 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology and Sociology.
