Math for America
Courtney Ginsberg is an experienced educator and program director with a strong background in mathematics education and curriculum development. Currently serving as Director of Programming and previously as Program Officer for Professional Development at Math for America since September 2013, Courtney has cultivated transformative learning experiences for over 1,000 STEAM Master teachers from NYC public schools. As a Master Teacher, Courtney facilitated a powerful community for public school mathematics and science educators. Prior experience includes a decade as a Mathematics & Computer Science Teacher at the NYC Department of Education, where curricula for various STEM courses were designed. Additional roles in management and bookkeeping in the food service and retail sectors have contributed to a well-rounded professional skill set. Academic qualifications consist of a Master of Arts in Mathematics Education from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from NYU Steinhardt School.
