Paul Reynolds

Paul Reynolds has extensive work experience in the IT field. Paul started their career as an IT Installation Technician at Dr Byte Computers in 2006. Paul then worked as an IT Service Desk Analyst and later as an IT Incident Engineer at Essex Police. In 2012, they became an IT Application Support Analyst at Essex Police, where they supported, maintained, and upgraded various applications. In 2014, Paul joined Ground Control as an IT Business Applications Manager. Paul was responsible for managing in-house built and third-party business applications, leading projects, and overseeing a team of support analysts and software developers. In 2021, they were promoted to Head of IT Service Management at Ground Control before becoming the Head of Cyber Security and Compliance in 2023.

Paul Reynolds completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Digital & Technology Solutions from Anglia Ruskin University, from 2017 to 2021. Before that, they attended South East Essex College in Southend-on-Sea from 1999 to 2001, and Sweyne Park School in Rayleigh from 1994 to 1999. In addition to their academic qualifications, Paul has obtained several certifications, including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in September 2022. Paul also holds certifications in Agile Project Management Practitioner from APMG International in 2015, Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis Practice from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2015, Specialist Certificate in Service Desk and Incident Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2011, and ITIL Foundation Level from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2010.
