Janica Lockhart has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Janica began their career as a Reporting Intern at the Federal Way Mirror in 2002. Janica then worked as a Copy Editing Intern at the King County Journal in 2004. Lockhart continued at the King County Journal as a Copy Editor and Page Designer from 2005 to 2007. Janica worked as a Desk Resident at the Seattle Times from 2007 to 2008, where they also played a key role in the development of a special section called SE Living.
