Kanwal Bhat (KK)

Kanwal Bhat has extensive experience in the agriculture industry, spanning over several roles and companies. Currently, Kanwal is working as the Country Manager at Groundwork BioAg since April 2022. Prior to this, Kanwal held the position of Managing Director at KK Bioblooms Agro Consultants from August 2020 to June 2022. From November 2016 to August 2020, Kanwal served as the Managing Partner at KK Bioblooms Agro Consultants India, where they provided consultancy services to global agro input manufacturers and traders, as well as guided and assisted Indian manufacturers in plant nutrition.

Before joining KK Bioblooms Agro Consultants India, Kanwal worked as a Business Consultant for India at Verdesian Life Sciences from May 2015 to October 2016. From August 2010 to April 2015, Kanwal served as the Vice President at Coromandel Agrico Pvt. Ltd. Prior to that, they worked as the DGM Marketing at Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. from August 2007 to July 2010.

Kanwal has held various other positions throughout their career, including Director - Crop Sciences at Biotech International Ltd. from January 2005 to June 2007, Vice President at FIL Industries Ltd. from September 2000 to December 2004, General Manager - Sales & Marketing at Fungicides India Ltd. from September 1996 to August 2000, and Project Manager at Kuber Floritech Ltd. from September 1994 to August 1996.

Kanwal Bhat (KK) started their education at Burn Hall School from 1962 to 1974. Kanwal completed their Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Kashmir from 1976 to 1980. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Agronomy from the University of Kashmir from 1988 to 1990. Additionally, they also obtained a Master of Science in Agriculture with a specialization in Agronomy and Crop Science from Burn Hall School.
