Oded Holzinger

Oded Holzinger is an experienced professional in climate resilience and community planning, currently serving as the Executive Director and Climate Resilience Manager at Groundwork Hudson Valley since March 2019. Key projects include the Climate Safe Neighborhoods, Yonkers Climate Action Plan, and Climate Ready Public Housing initiatives. Prior roles include Climate Adaptation Specialist at AKRF, focusing on tools for climate change preparedness, and Community Planning Fellow at Brooklyn Community Board 14, managing a community greening initiative. Additional experience includes a Planning Intern position at the New York City Department of Transportation and Regional Coordinator at Etgarim, where curriculum development for outdoor education programs was a focus. Oded holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
