Tarek M.

Tarek M. is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in machine learning, computer vision, and robotics. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at G42 and Presight since 2019, Tarek has contributed significantly to R&D initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at KAUST from 2016 to 2019, where Tarek conducted advanced research in the Robotics, Intelligent Systems, and Control Lab and developed systems recognized in the European Robotics League competition. Tarek’s professional journey began with research internships at Aramco and KAUST, focusing on reinforcement learning and computer vision. Tarek holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in AI Systems from KAUST, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, and has completed high school at Al Andalus Private School.
